Kim's post about Fat Talk reminded me of the music video for Skinny by Lo Rider. The song, which is about how the singer isn't attracted to skinny women, is okay, but the images in the video are what I really love. It's full of sexy, "plus-size" women who are totally comfortable with their bodies and their sexuality. We need more fat-positive images like this in our culture!

People should have good self image regardless.
Definitely. I'm not advocating the fact that the song is negative about skinny women, I just love seeing positive images of sexy fat women, since they're so scarce in our culture. Maybe if there were more images in the media of bodies of ALL sizes, there would be fewer people with eating disorders and body hatred.
This reminded me of another pro-size woman video.

Seriously, it's fantastic. And he sounds like Freddy Mercury.
I LOVE it!!! I need to make rocking out to this song a part of my daily routine. And hey, Freddy Mercury was pro-size too. :)
